Entry to Employment (e2e) helps youung people to achieve nationally recognised qualifications, whilst at the same time, building their confidence, improving self esteem and giving them the vocational and social skills needed to prepare for working life.
e2e is offered at all 3 of our centres at Kingswood, Southmead and Yate.
The programme consists of 3 parts:
Functional Skills – these are English, Maths and ICT
Vocational Development – things like CV preparation, interview skills, work experience and tasters, job search skills etc
Personal and Social Development – this includes independent living, budgeting, healthy eating, cooking, volunteering, citizenship plus a range of activities, sports and visits
Our e2e students also get the opportunity to achieve appropriate qualifications including:
- Functional Skills
- Certificate in Adult Literacy
- Certificate in Adult Numeracy
- ASDAN employability qualification
- ASDAN personal and social development qualification
- Key Skills
- A range of ICT qualifications
- First Aid Certificate
In addition students may achieve certificates relevant to their career choice such as CSCS card, CBT qualification.
Our e2e students will also receive an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of £30 per week providing they attend regularly each week. In addition they are eligible for additional bonuses for achievements agreed on their Individual Learning Plan.
